What I collect

Your email address. That’s it.
Not your name. Not your child’s name. Not your child’s age. Not your location. I don’t ask, so I can’t lose it. A list of mothers with their children’s ages on it is a thing worth not having.
If you buy something, the payment processor handles the payment and holds those details. I never see your card.

What I use it for

Only what you asked for. If you joined the launch list, that is one email on September 29 when it opens, with the free bedtime pack in it, and nothing after that unless you ask for more. If you asked for the free pack some other way, it is the pack and the short series that comes with it, and you can stop that in one click. If you bought something, it is your download and the emails about it. Whichever it is, it’s stated above the button before you type anything in.

What I never do

Never sold. Never rented. Never shared with anyone for their own use.
No retargeting. Your email is not uploaded to an ad platform to follow you around, which is a thing people do to parenting lists and shouldn’t.
No pre-ticked boxes. No consent bundled with something else. Entering your address for the stated purpose is the consent, and it covers only that.

Getting out

One-click unsubscribe in every email. It works immediately and it doesn’t ask you why. If you want your address deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, reply to any email and say so — it’s deleted, and I’ll tell you when it’s done.

Who handles it

The launch list is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), on servers in Montréal, Canada. Nobody outside the business can read it. When emails and payments are switched on, they run through an email service provider and a payment processor, each named on this page, and each holding your data on my behalf only to do that job.

How long I keep it

Your address stays until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted, and then it’s gone. If the launch list never turns into emails you want, it is deleted within twelve months of launch day rather than sitting somewhere forever.

Children

This is written for parents. It isn’t for children and I don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
